Our Writer

Mohammed Imran Khan, born and raised in Mumbai, has always believed that stories aren’t just told — they’re lived. Having experienced life’s highs and lows firsthand, Imran carries within him a treasure chest of moments, emotions, and encounters gathered from his travels across India — journeys that have deepened his understanding of people, culture, and the human spirit. These lived experiences now flow naturally into his writing.

His journey as a storyteller began long before The Indian Writer came to life — through quiet reflections, fleeting conversations, and the countless faces he met in Mumbai’s ever-moving streets. Every story he writes or curates is rooted in the belief that words have the power to heal, awaken, and connect.

Today, alongside his creative pursuits, Imran leads Clean Geosphere Private Limited, a Mumbai-based waste management company he built from the ground up in 2019. What began as a one-person mission to bring structure to India’s waste management system has grown into a multi-city enterprise serving Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Mira Road, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and Kolkata. His professional journey reflects the same values that guide his writing — resilience, purpose, and impact.

Through The Indian Writer, Imran aims to revive India’s timeless art of storytelling — one that captures the humour, emotion, and spiritual essence of everyday life. His vision is simple yet profound: to share stories that make readers pause, feel, and remember.

In a world that’s moving faster than ever, Imran’s words invite readers to slow down — to rediscover the beauty of emotion, the wisdom in tradition, and the strength in truth.
